As the proud recipient of the 2016 Google CS4HS award the University of Wolverhampton is delighted to invite you to the Google sponsored Festival of Computer Science. This event is primarily for teachers of GCSE and A Level Computer Science.
Google CS4HS is an annual funding programme to improve the Computer Science educational ecosystem by providing funding for the development and execution of CS teacher professional development worldwide. We will be delivering a FREE Java Programming MOOC—Massive Open Online Course— to prepare teachers of Computer Science for the programing elements of the new GCSE and A Level syllabuses. The MOOC will be launched during the Festival, and the programme of events includes a speaker from Google.
